matthew & sadaf {engagement}

two of my closest friends got engaged recently and asked me to take their engagement photos. matthew and sadaf are a fun couple and they were great to photograph.  they had all these wonderful creative ideas.  it was every photographer's dream.  i'm extremely happy for them and honored to be a part of their new journey.

eila cake smash {babies}

there's nothing quite as cute as an adorable little girl playing with cake and getting it all over the place.  my god baby turned one and her mom and i thought it would be fun to smash some cake and watch her laugh.  eila really loves the camera and poses for it.  she had a great time and so did we!  it also didn't hurt that my aunt and uncle have one of the greatest kitchens ever for photography.

dallas blooms {landscapes}

spring and summer are my favorite times of the year.  the flowers, the sunshine, the dresses and flip flops...it doesn't get any better.  i love the arboretum and dallas blooms.  this year was a lot of fun going with some friends and all of us taking photos.  starting with one of my lovely friend cortnye who i'm sure will hate me for posting this =)

the fonts {families}

in honor of mother's day i decided to post some pictures that i just finished editing....the font girls.  these three girls were so much fun to photograph!  running around, laughing, jumping on each other....just having a great time together.  they could all be actresses the way they were hamming it up at times.

happy mother's day to their mom kristie and all the mothers out there including the wonderful woman that gave birth to me!  love you mom!

london & paris {travels}

it has taken me far too long to get to these photos.....but i did and i'm really happy with how they turned out.  everything about this trip was wonderful, even though it was a short trip and one day in paris definitely wasn't long enough.  it snowed pretty hard in paris so i only got to shoot for a little bit but it was worth it.  it's such a charming, old, romantic city.  london was different this time around and i'm glad i got to see it again.  i was able to connect with some friends from my trip to fiji last year.

the whinerys {families}

meet catherine, scott, sweet baby allison and maddox.  i was introduced to the whinerys through a friend of mine and was thrilled that their shoot combined two of my favorite things: babies and puppy dogs.  i hadn’t done one with a dog before so i didn’t know how it would go.  maddox was very well behaved and allison too! catherine has an infectious smile and the whole family was super easy to take pictures of.
