in honor of mother's day i decided to post some pictures that i just finished editing....the font girls.  these three girls were so much fun to photograph!  running around, laughing, jumping on each other....just having a great time together.  they could all be actresses the way they were hamming it up at times.

happy mother's day to their mom kristie and all the mothers out there including the wonderful woman that gave birth to me!  love you mom!

london & paris {travels}

it has taken me far too long to get to these photos.....but i did and i'm really happy with how they turned out.  everything about this trip was wonderful, even though it was a short trip and one day in paris definitely wasn't long enough.  it snowed pretty hard in paris so i only got to shoot for a little bit but it was worth it.  it's such a charming, old, romantic city.  london was different this time around and i'm glad i got to see it again.  i was able to connect with some friends from my trip to fiji last year.

the whinerys {families}

meet catherine, scott, sweet baby allison and maddox.  i was introduced to the whinerys through a friend of mine and was thrilled that their shoot combined two of my favorite things: babies and puppy dogs.  i hadn’t done one with a dog before so i didn’t know how it would go.  maddox was very well behaved and allison too! catherine has an infectious smile and the whole family was super easy to take pictures of.

thompson christmas photos {families}

christmas came and went so quickly this year and i had no time to blog.  so let’s catch up….first up the thompsons.   i’m very much enjoying taking pictures of little gatty.  she’s changing every day and her eyes kill me every time i photograph them.  she’s getting to be such a fun age now and she’s making funny noises and bouncing herself all over the place.  the weather was so nice in december and fortunately we did have sun this day.  although graham did learn what wind was for the first time and had some funny reactions to it.

last saturday i got together with the brugler family to take a few photos.   i've known diana since we were eleven and brandon since high school.  i was thrilled to take photos of them and their adorable little boy.  cainen is a couple months shy of two and full of energy with a mind of his own.  much love to you both and thanks for letting me take your pictures!

playa del carmen {travels}

delaina and chais got married in beautiful playa del carmen, mexico in october.  the ocean was a beautiful clear turquoise surrounded by palm trees and white sand and the second you stepped into the water you could see a hundred fish scatter.  the property was enormous with 4 different hotels and 20 restaurants.  we hardly had to leave for anything but one day decided to make a little trip to the tulum ruins.  the tour guide told us these are the least impressive ruins in mexico but they are by the ocean and i thought it was amazing. i'd go back in a heart beat!

eila virginia {babies}

a few months ago i went to virginia for my goddaugther's christening. eila was wonderful that day....very calm and peaceful in her vintage dress with bonnet.  she's such a little angel and has the prettiest big blue eyes i've ever seen (eyes from mom and lashes from dad make a great combination).  i didn't have my blog then but now that i do i wanted to highlight a few pics from that day.  thanks mel and kris for letting me be a part of your special day!
